For decades, artisanal dye masters from Mibu, Kyoto have preserved their 'kurozome kakumei' technique to concoct the purest shade of black in the world. Achieved with a natural oxide finish, this multi-step process creates a depth of blackness that remains colourfast in the sun and rain, without any colour irregularities over time.

Since its introduction last Spring, the collection has grown into a 10-piece lineup, comprising signature styles across our Lightweight Jersey, Midweight Jersey, and Midweight Terry fabrics. Each hand-dyed in Japan, and produced in a limited edition.
