Season Four with designer and collaborator, Jide Osifeso, continues to challenge archetypes of the modern uniform.

“We stayed home and relied on staples from RC’s fleece and jersey heritage,” notes Osifeso; keeping true to the fabric legacy of Reigning Champ, while filtering design elements through his signature, reconstructive lens. The 11-piece offering reimagines traditional athletic and military silhouettes for a unisex audience, demonstrated through unconventional tailoring, fabric treatment, and seasonal graphics.

Utilizing Osifeso’s hallmark cuts and multi-paneled construction techniques, the collection includes a structured field jacket and cargo pant in a recycled 60/40 ripstop fabric; a custom tie-dyed fleece tracksuit; hybrid styles in nylon/terry & athletic mesh/copper jersey combinations — as well as the designer’s signature ‘Note’ logo and S04 graphic prints.

The accompanying film and editorial are an exploration of form and multiplicity — evoking visions of surrealism through garment layering, sculptural mâché, and special effects. Co-produced with director Glenn Michael of Kid. Studio and Los Angeles-based photographer, Alex Nazari.
